TsDIAL (the acronym of the archive made up of the first Ukrainian letter of
the title) remains the largest repository of records for our Halychyna/Easter
Galician research. Just because the archive is located in Ukraine, it
doesn't mean that they only keep records relating to Ukrainians. This is a
common error made by Polish researchers.
To read an article about the TsDIAL archive, it's holdings, procedures to use
the archive and an interview with its director Dr. Diana Pelts, click on the

Polish Genealogical Society, Summer 2001 issue.
